During Valentine’s Season, February 1 – 14, Upward Transitions gives our supporters an opportunity to share the love they have for someone special!
Donations made in the name of your loved one are matched 100% up to $5,000 to help a family in need! Your loved one will receive a social media notice of your donation and a special mention on our website.
Some donation levels will include a special card mailed to your loved one for Valentine’s Day and/or an order of something sweet sent to them to let them know you’re thinking of them on this special day.
Upward Transitions’ Annual Fundraising Gala featuring a new special “destination” each year
Past years themes have included New York, Austin, Paris, and even the year 1925! Our 2026 theme will be “English Invasion!” This event will welcome between 250 and 300 guests for dining, dancing, live music, cash bar, live & silent auctions, a raffle, & wine & jewelry pulls at the beautiful Downtown OKC Skirvin Hilton Hotel.

Celebrity Waiters “work for tips” to benefit Upward Transitions’ Community Outreach Program.
This annual event at Hideaway Pizza in Automobile Alley is fun for the entire family!
When you order, mention “Upward Transitions,” and Hideaway Pizza will donate 15% of your tab and 100% of your tip to assist those experiencing homelessness and families facing eviction in Oklahoma County.

Upward Transitions exclusive, special annual event just for our most generous and loyal donors will be taking place this Fall.
Gifts of $1,000 or more gives you membership in this highly valued group of our supporters with access to our special events, privileged information, first notices, free newsletter, private parties, and much more!

Each Fall, United Way of Central Oklahoma Partners participate in the United Way Day of Caring. This is an opportunity to do something special for our clients and for people in need in our community.
Upward Transitions’ throws a Food Truck Party for our clients and for anyone in need in the area. Guests are treated to gift bags of necessities and tickets for free chicken fingers, taquitos, funnel cakes, and drinks from the food truck!

Upward Transitions celebrates the holiday season with a donated item every day of December. This is a fun way for the whole family to participate in giving.
Get a big box or a bag, and give with your club, your church, your friends, your coworkers, or your neighbors. Each day is a new opportunity to give and enjoy the fun together!
