OKLAHOMA CITY — Upward Transitions received a grant of $15,000 from the Sarkeys Foundation to assist clients with social services addressing poverty in Oklahoma County.
Upward Transitions’ CEO, Periann Pulliam shared, “We are so grateful and honored to receive this generous support from the Sarkeys Foundation. This grant will allow us to continue making a meaningful impact on the lives of families and individuals who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of becoming homeless – especially with the increase in assistance requests that we are receiving during this unprecedented time in our community.”
The Sarkeys Foundation is committed to furthering SJ Sarkeys’ vision to improve the quality of life in Oklahoma. Since its founding, Sarkeys Foundation has awarded more than $80 million in grants to a diverse group of nonprofit organizations and institutions in Oklahoma.
Upward Transitions is an Oklahoma County non-profit that serves families and individuals who are homeless, at risk of becoming homeless; or stranded by providing case management and stabilizing resources to help meet basic social needs.
