UPWARD TRANSITIONS

Annual Campaign FY2026

After years of dreaming, planning, and preparation, it is hard to believe we are already halfway through our Centennial Year. We have been truly honored by all who have joined us in celebrating this remarkable milestone. The good news is, there is still much more joy and purpose ahead with more events, more impact, and more lives to uplift. We hope you will continue to walk this path with us.

As I reflect on 100 years of service to Central Oklahoma, I am continually humbled by the unwavering support of civic leaders, community members, and compassionate donors. Because of your generosity, Upward Transitions has remained a steadfast pillar for those experiencing homelessness, poverty, and crisis through recession and depression, social unrest and global wars, pandemics and natural disasters, terrorist attacks and political strife, and countless unseen everyday struggles.

This year has brought its own trials. Yet, through it all, we remain committed to our mission to prevent generational poverty through community collaboration, emergency relief, and empowerment, therefore inspiring hope with our neighbors experiencing housing instability.

From July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, our dedicated team of 11 provided emergency relief to more than 4,100 individuals facing homelessness or housing instability. Together, we have helped remove barriers, prevent displacement, and restore hope through:

  • More than 2,600 legal documents and state IDs, eliminating major barriers to employment, housing, and access to life-changing services.
  • Eviction prevention assistance for 247 families, helping stabilize the lives of 313 adults and 437 children, safeguarding their homes and their futures.
  • Collaboration with more than 50 partner agencies to deliver a stronger, more coordinated response to our clients’ complex needs.

These numbers represent real lives changed, real hope restored, and the power of what is possible when compassion meets action.

As we step into our Second Century of Hope, we are more committed than ever to breaking the cycle of poverty and homelessness in Oklahoma County. Our vision is bold: to end generational poverty in our community. To honor 100 years of impact, we have set an ambitious goal: to raise $100,000 in our Centennial Year.

Your support, whether monthly, quarterly, or annually, makes all the difference. Every dollar brings us closer to ensuring children sleep safely in their own beds, families remain stable, and individuals can reclaim their lives with dignity. Please, help us continue clearing the path to self-sufficiency and stability. Give today, because hope starts with you.

P.S. A gift of $1,000 or more, either one-time or $85 a month, makes you part of our Circle of Hope, a group of generous donors leading the charge into our next century. That single gift could change the trajectory of a family’s life.
