OKLAHOMA CITY – Upward Transitions received a grant of $100,000 from the Inasmuch Foundation to assist clients with social services addressing poverty in Central Oklahoma.
Founded by Edith Kinney Gaylord in 1982, Inasmuch Foundation supports charitable causes that enhance the progress and quality of life for all Oklahomans, particularly vulnerable children and families. Today, the foundation continues Edith’s rich legacy, connecting the community for good by championing journalism, education, human services, and community-focused initiatives.
“We are grateful and honored to receive this generous support from the Inasmuch Foundation,” said Periann Pulliam, Upward Transitions’ CEO. “This grant will allow us to continue making a meaningful impact on the lives of people experiencing homelessness, especially at a time when evictions are on the rise in our community.”
Upward Transitions is an Oklahoma County non-profit that serves families and individuals who are homeless, at risk of becoming homeless, or stranded by providing case management and stabilizing resources to help meet basic social needs.
