Upward Transitions Mourns the Passing of Judy Love

Upward Transitions mourns the passing of Judy Love. Oklahoma City has lost a beloved business-owner and dedicated philanthropist who impacted countless lives in Oklahoma City through her support of education, healthcare, and community development initiatives. She was widely admired throughout the community and leaves a legacy of generosity and commitment to community.

In September 2020, during the COVID pandemic, our CEO presented to the United Way of Central Oklahoma Campaign Cabinet Meeting via Zoom. She had yet to meet Mrs. Love, but immediately following the Zoom meeting, she received an email from Mrs. Love asking her to request a donation of $20,000 to offset the fundraising deficit Upward Transitions had experienced when we were required to cancel our 2020 American Tourist fundraising event. We have no doubt there are thousands of similar stories illustrating Mrs. Love’s genuine care and concern for our community and those in need.

Please keep the Love family and the Love’s team in your hearts and thoughts.
