Photo Exhibit Looks Through Eyes of Homeless

How I See OKC

A photographic exhibit meant to illustrate how the homeless see Oklahoma City will be showcased at a reception from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, February 7 at Istvan Gallery, 1218 Western Ave.

Homeless and formerly homeless people shared their stories and guided five photographers through Oklahoma City for the collection. The exhibit, “How I See OKC,” is a collaboration between the Curbside Chronicle and Upward Transitions.

“Our hope is that everyone who looks at these photos sees a person, a fellow human being with hopes and dreams and fears just like them,” said Dana Hope Chism, executive director, Upward Transitions.
