Glenda and her nieces and nephew are living in a home of their own and are back on their feet.

She is a school teacher who had adopted her two young nieces and a nephew. After an injury on the job, she was out of work for three months.

Money became tight, and the family was evicted from their home and forced to live in a hotel room.

Upward Transitions was able to help Glenda with rent and utility assistance to get her family out of the hotel and back into a home. Her Upward Transitions case manager also helped get food and gas so that the family could get back on their feet.
