Upward Transitions would like to extend a very special “thanks” to our partners and supporters on this, our THANKS Giving Tuesday. We simply could not do what we do without you, and your support is so crucial to us. We want you to know we value you, and we appreciate you coming along side us to inspire hope and fight generational poverty.
Our mission – to prevent generational poverty through community collaboration, emergency relief and empowerment, therefore inspiring hope with our neighbors experiencing housing instability – is dependent on our family of fellow agents of hope, our donors and partners.
Because of you, Upward Transitions was able to assist nearly 4,000 people in FY2023 with a staff of only 11, and we have since added an additional case manager.
We follow up with our clients to assess their future stability and success, and because of you, of the 792 people in 285 households we assisted with rent or utility assistance, 74% maintained stable housing with utilities connected for up to 1 year.
Because of you, in FY2023, 3,164 clients stated they felt more hopeful after receiving our services.
Upward Transitions is debt free, and 89 cents of every dollar donated in FY2023 went toward client programs.
