Gerry has reported she is doing very well today.  Upward Transitions helped her catch up on her utility bills and pay her rent. She was able to get back to a place of peace and stability while celebrating the birth of her baby boy!

Gerry had a job she loved, but the company failed and closed its doors. She found herself seven months pregnant without work or family support.

Her apartment manager connected her to Upward Transitions, and through her UT case manager she was able to get support and resources. She received assistance with her rent and utilities, her budget, and her job search. Her case manager also followed up with her regularly during the stressful time and made sure she had everything she needed, including transportation to her medical appointments.

Gerry quickly found another job and is making more money than before. She says she is grateful to Upward Transitions for getting her through this frightening time.
