Periann Pulliam
Periann has been with Upward Transitions since 2009. She is responsible for all activities of our 97-year-old organization. Prior to her position as CEO, she was the Chief Operations Officer for four years and was the Director of Volunteers for our Travelers Aid Information Booth Program at Will Rogers World Airport for six years. Periann serves on the Board of Directors and Professional Council for Travelers Aid International and is a member of the Rotary Club of Oklahoma City. She holds Oklahoma Center For Nonprofits' Standards for Excellence and Nonprofit Management Certifications. Periann has over 30 years of experience in business management and earned her bachelor's degree in Journalism from Oklahoma State University.
Alicia Terry
Director of Community Outreach Programs
Alicia Terry
Alicia Terry began her career in social services in 2013 at the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. After joining Upward Transitions in 2016 as a case manager, she soon took the lead in case managing clients and funding for services, and case management process training. In 2022, Alicia assumed the role of Director of Community Outreach Programs to guide case management processes, programs, and services at Upward Transitions. She earned a Master of Education in Applied Behavioral Studies from Oklahoma City University, Oklahoma City.
Sharon Scott
Volunteer Coordinator
Sharon Scott has served in the nonprofit sector since 2015. During her employment, Scott dedicated eight years to her education in public service with the desire to make a difference in the world. She received a Master's in Public Administration-Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the University of Central Oklahoma, Edmond. Her role at Upward Transitions is to coordinate the Travelers Aid volunteer group at Will Rogers World Airport.

Conna Dewart
Conna Dewart is Development and Public Relations Manager for Upward Transitions, a 100-year-old nonprofit working to end homelessness in Oklahoma County. She is responsible for all fundraising, marketing, public relations, and communications for the organization.
Conna comes from a diversified background in public relations, fundraising, event planning, journalism, graphic and web design, social media management, and public speaking. She is an alum of Phillips University in Enid, OK and UCLA in Los Angeles, CA.
Conna has written for numerous publications including local papers "Guthrie News Leader," and "Edmond Sun." A past member of McKinsey & Company’s high profile Los Angeles marketing management team, her effective, dynamic approach is research-based and data driven.
