The Anne & Henry Zarrow Foundation Grants $25,000 to Upward Transitions

 OKLAHOMA CITY — Upward Transitions received a grant of $25,000 from The Anne & Henry Zarrow Foundation that will be used for assisting clients with social services to prevent and reduce homelessness in Oklahoma County.

Upward Transitions CEO Periann Pulliam shared, “We are so grateful to The Anne & Henry Zarrow Foundation for their generous support. This grant will fund our Community Outreach Program so we may continue making a meaningful impact on the lives of families and individuals who are struggling to remain housed or already experiencing homelessness.”

In 2021, the Upward Transitions Community Outreach Program served over 5,500 citizens in central Oklahoma by providing case management and stabilizing resources to help meet basic needs.

For over 96 years, Upward Transitions has touched the lives of Oklahomans in need through the mission to prevent generational poverty through community collaboration, emergency relief, and empowerment, therefore inspiring hope in families and individuals experiencing housing instability.

The mission of The Anne & Henry Zarrow Foundation is, “to lift our neighbors out of poverty by supporting housing and shelter resources, social services and basic human needs, mental health and indigent healthcare initiatives, and programs that empower and inspire community members to improve their lives.”
