HoganTaylor Foundation Awards Upward Transitions Grant

Hogan Taylor Foundation

Upward Transitions is honored to be awarded a 2020 grant from the HoganTaylor Foundation. HoganTaylor shared, “This contribution conveys the respect and admiration we have for the important work that you do.”

Upward Transitions serves families and individuals who are homeless, at risk of becoming homeless, or stranded by providing case management and stabilizing resources to help meet basic social needs. Our ultimate goal is to assist families and individuals during times of financial devastation, so they remain – or can return to being – productive contributors to their community.

Periann Pulliam, Chief Executive Officer of Upward Transitions shared, “We are honored to have the support of the HoganTaylor Foundation, and we appreciate their recognition of the important work Upward Transitions does in our community. Our work has never been more relevant than it is today during this pandemic crisis.” In the past year, Upward Transitions assisted more than 3,330 people in 2,034 households with their basic needs. With the support of grants, like those from the HoganTaylor Foundation, Upward Transitions is able to support families and individuals who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Through Upward Transitions’ Community Outreach Program, emergency relief, case management, and direct services are provided to clients to address the issues of homelessness and generational poverty.

Help end generational poverty.
